All of praise and thanks to God, because
by His mercy writer can finish the report on time. The report is made as the
requirement to have school examination year 2013 / 2014.

CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION
A. BACKGROUND
Administration is related to company or office. The
administration is really needed and also a very important thing in a company.
Administration in the entire process of jobs is needed
in finishing jobs. Administration pointed to employees or secretary directly.
Administration also has a number of functions, they are: planning, organizing, sorting,
directing, reporting, estimating, evaluating, and so on.
In connction with it, in this
chance the writer wants to give a little illustration of activities related to
administration in ATMI SURAKARTA.
B. OBJECTIVES
The objectives of job training in business world are:
1. To
introduce the students to business and industrial world
2. To
get the new experience in the industrial world
3. To
increase the knowledge of industrial world
4. To
increase the students capability in administration department
5. To
train the students responsibility
6. To
train the students mentally
CHAPTER
II
PRODUCTION AND PROCESS
- TIME AND PLACE
The implementation of job training has been held in
1st March until 25th April 2013. And the working time is
from at 07.00 a.m –
16.00 p.m, except on Friday (07.00
a.m
– 13.00 p.m).
it’s been held in ATMI SURAKARTA, Jl. Mojo No. 1 Karangasem, Laweyan,
Surakarta.
- MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENTS
The
materials and equipments to job training in ATMI SURAKARTA are:
1. Documents
or letters 8. Filling cabinet
2. Snelhecter 9. Computer and printer
3. Stationery
(ATK) 10. Glue
4. Photocopy
machine 11. Paper cutter
5. Ordner 12. Risograph
6. Perforator 13. Telephone

- THEORITICAL REVIEW
1. Administration
is a series of activities carried out by a group in a corporation to reach a
goal. And then, administration can be defined as a science which learn the
processes, activities, and dynamics of corporation (Liang Gie in Ali Mufiz
(2004 : 1;4)
2. Administration
is a function which related to the management and direction of all phases of
company operations and materials processing information and communication (WH
Evans)
3. Administration
is planning the implementation of communication functions and services of an
organization (Arthur Granger)
4. Administration
has been defined as the guidance, leadership, and control of the effort of a
group of individuals towards some common goals (William H Newman)
C. SCHEME
OF WORKS
MOTION
OF WORK
1. The
letters received by the officers entered after receiving a letter to be sorted
out by personal letters and official letters
2. And
then the letters submitted to the secretary to be recorded
3. Then
the letters read by the leader to disposed and then usually affixed at the
bottom left of the blank or in the top left before the greeting
4. If
letters has been completed on processing, the letter distributed according to
the disposition letters
5. And
then the letters submitted to the secretariat to be saved and recorded again in
the form of letters archives
D. RESULTS
The
results of job training are:
1. The
writer can understand about how to archiving documents or letters based on the
correct and good procedures
2. Get
the knowledge that didn’t learn in school
3. Be
able to process the letters properly
4. Be
able to increase the knowledge
CHAPTER III
FINDING
A. IMPLEMENTATION
The
proponent factors of on job training are:
1. Motivation
and support from all people
2. Good
corporation between the staffs in ATMI SURAKARTA and the student who having the
job training
3. Good
responses if the students can do a good archiving letters from CEO and staffs
4. There
is no discrimination between CEO, staffs and the students
5. The
material and equipments are well available
The inhibiting factor of on the job training are:
1. Sometimes
the students are bored because the job for each client’s job was too long
2. The
student is very monotonous
if the deadline is still long
3. The
leader is too busy so he can’t give guidance directly
B. BENEFITS
1. Benefit
for school:
a. Through
OJT, school will have a good partnership with the institution
b. Through
OJT, school is able to apply the dual program based the curriculum
2. Benefit
for student:
a. The
student can apply the theory of office administration in business world
directly
b. The
student can try to work in a team
c. The
student will get certificate from ATMI SURAKARTA after finishing the job
training
d. It
can train the student’s mentally
3. Benefit
for institution:
a. Know
better in quality of employees
b. Institution
will have a good relation
c. Granting
to learner to give solutions of engineering science on behalf of the company
CHAPTER IV
CLOSING
A. CONCLUSION
The
conclusion that the writer can take from this report are:
1. The
students could get a lot of new experience from the business world beside the
knowledge from school
2. By
following on the job training, the students could increase the discipline in
everything
3. This
final task report could train the responsibilities of students
B. SUGGESTION
1. The
teacher should put the students on the right place based on the student’s
capabilities
2. The
students in the job training must be able to keep the goodwill of ammater
